‘Carol’, cinta dirigida por Todd Haynes y protagonizada por Cate Blanchett y Rooney Mara, confirmó lo que muchos críticos y festivales ya habían dado a conocer: es la favorita de las premiaciones, en esta ocasión dominando las nominaciones de los Globos de Oro 2016.
El pasado jueves se dieron a conocer a los opcionados para las categorías de la 73 edición de los premios. Como muchos saben, ‘Carol’ está basada en la novela de Patricia Highsmith y narra una historia de amor lésbico.
Latinoamérica vuelve a estar presente gracias a las cuatro nominaciones que recibió la cinta ‘The Revenant’, dirigida por Alejandro González Iñárritu y protagonizada por Leonardo DiCaprio.
En cuanto a la televisión, sorprende ‘Mr. Robot’ que con tan sólo una temporada esté nominada como mejor serie dramática; también se destacó a Lady Gaga, quien incursionó en ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ y logró una nominación.
La gala se realizará el 10 de enero y será presentada por Ricky Gervais, quien funge por cuarta vez como maestro de ceremonias.
