Tal como es costumbre desde tiempos ancestrales, lo peor del cine ha sido «premiado» a través de los Razzie Awards 2017, otorgados un día antes de la gala de los Oscars.
En esta edición, sólo tres películas fueron «galardonadas» de todas las nominadas, sin embargo, ‘Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party’ y ‘Batman v Superman’ dominaron cada categoría, excepto una.
Hillary’s America fue escrita y dirigida por Dinesh D’Souza, un autor conservador y crítico de cine. Él también actúa en la película, motivo por el cual fue elegido tanto como peor director como peor actor.
